Wow, it’s all big-brand stuff on this week’s Telly Addict: the return of Strictly Come Dancing to BBC1, although not strictly; episode three of Doctor Who on BBC1; the return of Downton to ITV1; and another peek at The Great British Bake Off on BBC2, wherein there will be blood. You have been warned.
Not sure about the stripy shirt, but after 22 editions of Telly Addict for the Guardian (not to mention the three pilots), I thought I’d try something new, keep it interesting, push back a few barriers. Under review this week: the return of Strictly to BBC1; the $20 million pilot of Terra Nova on Sky1; and the return of Mary Portas, although not to BBC2, but to C4, for Mary Queen Of Frocks.
